The Maine Trust for Local News (METLN) is Maine’s largest news organization, connecting communities across eight counties in southern, western, and central Maine. Our statewide journalism covers the issues that matter most to Mainers, including politics, housing, health, culture, education, the environment, Maine’s tribes, and more.
We serve our audiences through daily, weekly, and bi-monthly newspapers, as well as topic-based and hyper-local newsletters, both online and in print.
Our work is powered by a diverse team of professionals across the organization. Our teams in Advertising, Circulation, Creative Services, Distribution, Editorial, Facilities, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Marketing, Pre-Press, Production and Web Development work together to deliver trusted local journalism to the communities we serve.
